We should be seeing commits start coming in. I'm hoping for 10-12 before the first game.
 
Last recruiting class Tyler Davis was an ambassador, welcoming fellow commits via social media after teaser Tweets like tonight's from @UConnFootball. Hope we get another like him or Kevin Murphy early in the cycle this year. My impression is they helped with subsequent commits and kept the class together until signing day.
 
Maybe someday we'll be a normal football program and can just get good players to commit in a normal fashion.
 
Boston College has 11.
Houston has 11
SMU has 12.
Tulane has 12.
Cincy has 7.
Syracuse has 6.

Can we please move away from Idaho and New Mexico State?

It has to be tough for any coaching staff to sell a kid on coming to UConn these days. Bad conference? Check. Bad football? Check. Bad coaching decisions? Check. We might be the only program to have conservatively punted on 4th-and-1 on SMU's 40 yard line all season...and that came during an absolutely worthless season finale no less.

The kids who will come to UConn are all going to be projects and all will have to have a common trait: they are not afraid of hard work and a challenge. Edsall found those kids. Time will tell if Diaco can too.
 
And how about @UConnFootball getting their act together on their little recruiting teasers like the one they put out nearly 20 hours ago about our first football commit? Did they misspeak; was the kid not fully committed and get cold feet? What's going on?

As someone else mentioned, it could be them welcoming recruits to their summer camps? Their previous tweets about commits were always more specific. But we could all be wrong.

Yeah IIRC from last year there would be phrases like "Husky tracks spotted heading towards Storrs from Town ABC." This one seems overly vague. Could be a commit. Could be a camp. Could be anything.
