Well of course they’re not scared when they’ve found a new way to get away with it. Like in The Wire when they started using cell phones, the cops had to find a new way to get them on a wire. These basketball programs have insulated their coaches from the illegal activity, learning well from what the shoe companies were clearly doing. The NCAA is going to have to find a new way to directly link coaches and ADs with the illegal stuff; how confident we should be in their ability to do so is up for debate. They're not even scared of the NCAA anymore. Just a few years ago Wade would have been fired as soon as these charges came out. I fully expect the SEC will shelter LSU from any real penalty. Nothing to see here...
The SEC is hamstersam. Nothing to see hereWell of course they’re not scared when they’ve found a new way to get away with it. oof yeah I didn't realize it had gotten up to a cat 4. scary stuff.
That is rather harsh considering the circumstances...It was Tremont's late father that made that call - then passed away before he could spend that recruitment cash
Well, it's a professional sport. Money's gonna find a way if there's value.College basketball is an absolute cesspool. Football is slime but basketball is an absolute pit of contaminated feces floating in slime. My guess is no high D 1 coach is untainted. These guys like Miller and Pitino and Wade are worse than most but as long as CBS is willing to pay billions for the tournament nobody will care
