Wanna hear something cool?

By my math (6+40+38+6=90), UCONN has now won 90 of the last 91 games by ten points or more. Put another way, except for the infamous Stanford loss, no team since the 2013 Big East tournament has played UCONN to within single-digits.

Not bad.

Off the top of my head recollection: It's two cases of 10 points, each to Notre Dame; one case of 11 points, at Baylor; and then . . . I think the next closest is 15 over Texas A&M in the 2014 regional final. After that, several 17s. Am I correct?

Side note: Saniya has lost only one game since she's been here. And she hasn't won a game by less than 10 points.

Pretty impressive, Geno. Now let's see if we can keep that Stanford thing from ever happening again.

Or an alternative viewpoint being expressed elsewhere on the board:

When is a double digit win not a double digit win?!:rolleyes::)
We are doomed I tell ya! Teams are almost holding us to single digit MOVs! What next, hell is freezing over?!

South Florida played UCONN to a 15 point loss in their last game against UCONN last season.

The senior class is a ridiculous 118-0 in games separated by double digits, and just 1-5 in games separated by single digits. The lone win in single digits came against St. Johns in 2013, where Jefferson/Stewart came off the bench and scored a combined 8 points.

The 2015 graduating class of KML and Stokes went 144-1 in games decided by double digits, and just 2-9 in games decided by single digits. Not something you see every day.

Hmmm. I guess, hypothetically, that if they had not lost to Stanford, yesterday would have broken the record of 90 in a row.

To put another slant on this: In only four games out of the last 91 has UCONN failed to win by at least 15 points. Seems like a nice measure of domination.

Maybe I should make like a statistician and call this the (N-1) streak.

Sorry, I didn't hear anything cool

I did read something cool, though. Nicely done.

Quasi--just Quasi !! I thought Chong was pretty good coming out of High School, but to think she has only lost one game, that's amazing. The thought of that just drives me Quasi!!

Not bad at all. And we all know the Stanford game was a not to be repeated fluke.
Are you trying to tell me --The sky isn't falling"?? I'll never believe it.
