The "Discuss our seeding and path to the Final Four" Thread

i actually went to that Iona/Marist MAAC championship game last night. iona pressed all game which scares me but they were also tied with marist (6-14 in the MAAC) with like 5 mins to go in the game. final score wasnt nearly as much of a whooping that it seems. this was with a mianly iona "crowd" too. we should win that game with ease.
 
Iona has won 14 in a row, most of them easily. Granted, the competition was terrible, but that's going to be a confident team that has things working.

This is a tough draw. Round 1 against an experienced coach who knows how to get the best from his team, then VCU or St. Mary’s. Followed by Kansas and UCLA if seeding follows. VCU is a little like Marquette defensively, can give St. Mary’s a game.

Because we’re a better team talent wise and should move on. I was also told throughout the year that our record and performance in the BE is not who we are. We are the the team that ran through the OOC schedule. Time to show up. We should make it to the S16.

Does VCU full court press a lot? If they do that is an interesting match up as St Mary's is one of slowest pace teams in the country
 
We had 2 good OOC wins this year, and one of them degraded over the last few weeks. It’s not hard to see how we’re a 4.

Oregon, OK St, & Florida all basically stunk.

Watched a little of their game vs Dayton today. They pressure, though not full throated full court press, technically.
