The defense was a Steel Curtain today

This is the first time we've given up 3 points or less to an FBS team since the crazy Tulane rain game in 2015.
As uninspiring as this year’s thunder chickens are, the offense we shut down today is better than the Tulane offense we shut down 7 years ago. And today’s game wasn’t played in a monsoon like that one.

This was the best defensive effort since the home win over ranked Houston in 2015

The D was stifling and relentless!

I was worried they would get gassed in the 4th with as much work they had to put in due to the offense flat out struggling all day. But they never did!

What a great win for the program. It felt great to see them demoralize a team…

Who at the start of the season would have predicted that our D would be the primary reason we win a game vs P5 comp this year?

The Block D got at it.....

Mitchell was everywhere yesterday. That strip fumble was as much athletic as it was sheer will. That was probably the game right there. I didn’t even know he was on punt coverage and was so happy that he recovered that fumble after Flowers got lit up…….and did he get lit up!
