This polling of students is akin to those videos last season of the roving reporter standing in front of Geno's Grill & asking students Who UConn was playing that week & what was that team's mascot. Those kids' responses sounded like they had been locked away in solitary for a decade with no contact with the world outside.

With the increase in SAT scores of incoming freshmen, I think has come the decrease of athletics interest. UConn is attracting a new breed of student that is much more serious about their studies than ever before.

At least that's my theory on why partying sucked after my sophomore year and I am going to make that jump that that is why the students aren't as in tune with sports.

Next to each other adds confusion. I am sure more kids spent 5 seconds reading this and assumed that the AAC wouldn't even be listed. I assumed that and saw AAC as ACC at first too.

I blame it on hanging chads
