The Oakland Raiders have named Tony Sparano as the team’s interim head coach. http://post original url/2T1TN0Eh21 pic.twitter.com/fe0btakoq3

"Sparano and his wife, Jeanette, have two sons: Tony, Andrew, both members of the University at Albany (N.Y.) football team[15] and a daughter, Ryan Leigh.[16] At age 17, Sparano had an incident, while working in a fast food restaurant, which burnt his eyes, which is among the reasons why he always wears his signature sunglasses even at night."
I did not know about Sparano eye condition - I did know about Jim McMahons.
"He also is known for his trademark sunglasses, which he wears for medical reasons. At age six, while trying to untie a knot in a toy gun holster with a fork, he accidentally severed the retina in his right eye when the fork slipped. While his vision was saved, the accident left that eye extremely sensitive to light.[18] On the field he was among the first to wear a helmet fitted with a tinted plastic visor covering the eyes, leading to nicknames like "Darth Vader" and "Black Sunshine."
