I agree. I was with Richard (dtbtbtb) and my parents and the crowd REALLY got into it as UCONN came back from their deficit - twice. It was a valiant effort. Frustrating and sad for the team, but a great come back. they had the game in their hands to win. Just didn't get it done on that last possession. the crowd was stunned.
Just got home....heartbroken for the team and coaches. They battled back so valiantly, I really thought the momentum had swung our way during the last time out. The crowd was awesome, still numb from that last play. I really thought we had them this time
Stewie was fantastic tonight...she proved she can play with the big boys!
Yup, thought it was the best UCONN crowd I've seen in terms of getting involved vs being "corporate" or "old".....nice to see and nice for the kids.....felt as if we were vitually "willing" a victory for them. I'm pro enhusiasm, of course.....hootin and hollerin is my usual, even at home in the living room during the game, as a couple of you know . I go into that mode for the many 40 point wins as well.... relish those just as much as the tight ones and find they take alot less outa me!
