October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The cheer & dance teams were sporting pink pompoms in tribute. I went to all of fan kiosks in search of a pink tee shirt or baseball cap as one member of our tailgate crew is a breast cancer survivor. I finally asked the attendant at the fan shop trailer behind the Jumbotron if they had any such apparel in stock in the stadium. His answer: "We never thought of that. Sorry."

Coach Cap raises a very valid point. It needs to be addressed in the future.

Is UConn doing any cancer research using AI?
Maybe the answer will eventually come from the lab, but AI should help. Especially if detailed, intelligent and realistic computer models for cell growth, interaction, control and splitting can be created. A super computer could do a millions+
experiments in a few seconds. And the software would likely learn something new from many of them.

Sounds at lot more interesting than database software development and maintenance.

I'd love to get some merch that supports various causes. Especially for one that helps autistic children. Being on the spectrum myself, I'd love to help someone get the opportunities I didn't get from not being diagnosed until very recently.
