Anyone catch that game last night?
I sat behind the Sky bench at the game. The game was as good as any basketball game (WNBA or NBA) gets.
It was two of the biggest stars in basketball going head to head at times (Maya Moore and Elena Delle Donne). EDD scored 25 points in the 1st half. I thought she would get 50.
The Lynx shut her down in the 2nd half but I think that was partly due to Vandersloot getting injured in the first minutes of the game. Faulkner couldn't get the ball to EDD and tried to drive but couldn't finish -losing the lead for the Sky. Maya put the Lynx back on top.
