Appreciation post for the job Coach Sal has done.
 
Akok has excellent posture. He's standing straight up.

Pics are deceiving. They are all stronger because we finally have a coach who believes in strength training but low body fat, lighting, and the pose tends to make people look bigger than they are. We are still a really skinny team with only two players over 200 lbs., we're still most likely going to be bullied. The strength of our team won't be our size and physical strength.
 
Most recent IG post indicated Adams “won” the offseason, Vital came in second, and Polley in third. Guess they had different goals for everyone to meet and those guys met the most.

Polley may just have a hard time gaining weight.

It could just be his build but BA looked kind of out of shape last year. He looks terrific this year. A good sign.

My god Akok's legs.... Seriously though he definitely looks so much better. It was a great call for him to enroll for spring semester!

Growth is growth so kudos to Sal but these guys still look small relative to legitimately strong college basketball players. Which is to be expected, this stuff doesn't happen overnight.
 
B Adams looking big. Was thinking earlier when I saw that Adams won the most summer camp challenges ... I think he’s gonna be very important for the program the next three years. He will likely be one of the lowest ranked recruits coming in under Hurley, but he knows as a result of this he will have to work extra hard. Should be a great influence on a lot of the highly-touted guys coming in. Also think as a larger guard he will definitely be able to contribute something different on the court

Yeah, if you look at the abs in the pic of another team in this thread and of our guys, they aren't even comparable. Still a long way to go

The procidence bunch are all rolling their shoulders inward to look more tight and ripped. In UConn pic only the kid to AG's right looks to be doing that.

Has Sid grown this summer? I know people have said he’s really more like 6’5 than his actual listed height, but he looks significantly taller than bouk who’s listed 6’4

Some of them are flexing but on balance that's a stronger looking team. Wisconsin posted one of these goofy weight room pics the other day and those kids were thicker too.

Old Dominion posted a great one, where coach Hunter’s son is a freshman. They have guys with big chains wrapped over their shoulders, one kid chugging muscle milk lol
