Noon bump.

Ferris is giving Hoosiers all they can take!
I thought he might. It was a difficult call for me. Both pretty iconic and eminently rewatchable. Tough draw for Hoosiers.

Ferris Bueller being tied with Hoosiers on a basketball board is mind boggling. First off, Ferris Bueller is terribly dated and never that funny to begin with....and Hoosiers is the iconic basketball movie. Wow. Upset in the making.

I thought the same about Ferris... and was not as taken with it as many others were when it came out. Thought it was good, not great. I was much more of a fan of The Breakfast Club. But Mrs. 8893 liked it a lot and my kids have all grown up watching it repeatedly, so to me it had more staying power than I expected.

But yeah, not close to Hoosiers for me personally.

Probably one of my earliest crushes.

Also Mano’s horrible little secret:
I can’t ever remember having seen Hoosiers.

Forrest Gump is an aggressively bad movie. No Country for Old Men is a good one.

That is all.
