Is full of all of you naysayer doom and gloomers after today.

Hola.
I am ElGuapo, first time poster and 8 month lurker.
1997 UConn graduate.
This recent malaise brought me out of my cave.
F@ck the ACC.
We don't need 'em.
They are about to get screwed and we will watch from the sidelines and laugh.
And there will be place for us somewhere as this settles out.
Too much good has happened to us in such short times that I bet those looking at us are afraid we will barge in to their parties too quick and take over.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Class of '98 here. Pour yourself some margaritas. Get on board the party boat, never mind the fact the captain is blinding drunk...

Do you realize the irony is that we have to root for the ACC to get screwed badly enough that they will finally be desperate enough to invite us? That is our end game. That is our only end game.

It's disgusting and still amazes me that when the dust settles the ACC will be full of former Big East schools with the former ACC schools long gone.
Simply a conference name change in the end.

I've been watching you all with the B1G rumors and would love if there is some truth to it.
We road tripped to the Notre Dame and Michigan games and it's just done different out there.
People were warm and inviting, proud to show and share their school, interested in learning about you and very helpful with getting around.
And the stadiums were full 45 minutes before kick-off because the pre-game tradition and pomp matters.

Sad to say that UConn will never have that.
And anyone from other visiting schools will sense that and never return.
But only after they are chased out of the stadium by our roving gangs of drunken dooshbags.

Only time will tell...
