after watching some highlights, at least I can say I like our uni's more than I thought I would... Now, if we could just play as good as we'll look we'll be OK.

Agreed. I liked them for the most part since Day 1 but they've really grown on me lately.

Is the you-tube video box showing?

I'm getting box with a circle w/ a slah in it in upper left hand corner? Not sure if the problem is related to the Adobe Flash Player pop-up problem. Funky stuff happening lately.

This was the first time I saw some "highlights" from the Buffalo loss. I couldn't bring myself to watching any of it after listening to it live on the radio. What was the attendance at that game?!? It looks like there are barely 1,000 people in that stadium. Yet the stadium looks a lot larger than I though it was. Lots of seats in the end zones. Pretty ambitious for that program to get those seats filled. Plus, Buffalo's unis are atrocious!

Buffalo is so yesterday's news. ;) I've managed to block the previous 4 games out. Can't wait for our first game Saturday vs USF. :cool:

One option is to go to the youtube site and use a program called Free Download Manager (google easy to find) to get the high res file. It appears in the upper left corner of the video as a download option in IE when you start the video. Choose to download then close the video. When it's done watch in a decent media player like Media Player Home Cinema or other. More control good quality.

Edit: Hold off for now having an audio issue.

Thanks sir... It appears I stuck my IE10 where it didn't belong and picked up something. Switched over to Chrome and all is well. Weird.

During the highlight section you get the full feel for the great "atmosphere" up there. Still no excuse, but you can see where the let down comes from. Playing a competitive night game verse probably the most prominent (debatable) college football program in country on National Television to the feel of watching Glastonbury vs Southington on a Saturday afternoon.

One thing I can never get over are how many students have no clue about the upcoming opponent - not talking necessarily their mascot or color, but just knowing who UConn is playing next. We've all had our fair share of memory lapses from activities the night before, but these should be easy questions for kids rocking UConn gear/other sports apparel, shouldn't they?
 
I had no idea our coach's name is pronounced "Weest" I've been saying "Why-st" in my head all season.
