Good game tonight with # 9 Iowa State at. #25 Kansas State. Joens State versus Ayoka Lee. Should be fun

Baylor has had such a lock on that conference over the last ten years with Kim that we haven't talked bunch about the Big 12. This year looks different (though Baylor could still win it).

Texas
Iowa State
Baylor
Oklahoma
K-State

Will Baylor win it again, or will somebody else bust it up?

I think you're in the right forum, but maybe a day ahead of yourself. This game is scheduled for Tuesday night. It should be a good one.

This is a good question. Right now, I'm leaning towards Iowa State but they haven't faced Kansas State yet. Oklahoma has impressed considering this is the coach's first year running the team. Baylor isn't the same team as before but who knows?

Texas is the wild card because they're unpredictable, primarily because of they're young and still figuring things out. They've got some players coming back from injury, like Aaliyah Moore which will help.

I'll be tracking Oklahoma all year. Their new coach is the person that was on the top of my wish list (I think) to be Duke's new coach after McCallie stepped down.

I can appreciate why she was. This team has a pulse again. It's nice to see. Stacey Dales has to be very happy seeing the program be competitive again.

It is early but looking at the Big 12 standings, it is odd not seeing Baylor at the top of the standings. Followed by Texas or something team. Hats off to Iowa State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma. Heck even Kansas!! Again, it is early but seeing Kansas right there at 1-1, that is nice! That Big 12 is open to any team that wants to take the regular season and tournament title.

Big comeback for Okie State drilling the threes late to nullify another huge (38 points) performance by A. Lee

I believe you mean Iowa State. It was an insane finish for sure. Ayoka Lee pretty much had her way in the paint for most of the game. Kansas State had quite a few turnovers in the last few minutes. I like their freshman. They will be important to the team's development long term.

Texas and Baylor open conference play with a combined record of 1-4.

Caught the second half of the Kansas-Texas game. Man it was something. I thought there was some great basketball but I couldn't believe the amount of turnovers last night. When the announcers mentioned it was getting close to 40 between both teams, my jaw dropped.

I'm still confused on why Jaden Owens don't see much court time. Baylor Guards are not doing anything great. So I would not see any dropoff with Owens subbing for one of them.

Even with Kim. I think Owens would have been utilized more. Because Kim gets the most out of her players and I would have seen her being coached better.

I didn't expect this Baylor team to be this bad until after Smith left. But shows how great a coach they lost.
