Talk about responding to having to come off the bench!

Really nice stroke from the line. Not the biggest (or even close) frame but I'd love to see him draw contact and get 6-8 FTs a game in conference play.

very nice stroke from the line, Phil had the reputation as a face-up guy coming out of HS like Olander, I hope as his career progresses next year and beyond he eventually develops confidence from 10-15ft out and can play alongside another big(Brimah, Facey).

Great to see Phil step up the last two games. I've said it before that he just seemed a step away from being productive...hopefully, he has made that step.
Also very encouraging for Omar to see the ball go through the hoop...hopefully, he just needs to restore some confidence.

Omar and Phil handled this well. Long season and both will and have to come up big for us.

One of the announcers had a good point. It's hard for the big men to get involved in the game when they never seen the ball on the offensive end. Once Bazz and the other guards got Phil involved he responded very well.

He needs to be more consistent. He played great today but he needs to be more consistent and bang on the boards and underneath. When he gets to the line he's doing something right.

There's a shot that Phil may just be a better bench player than starter. 2 games coming off the bench = 2 good games.
For some people, it's just a different mindset, and a different style of play (more free, less worries about fouls)

The game changed when he (and Niels) started grabbing tough rebounds in traffic.

He may not always get his points, but if he plays like this on the boards he'll be a net plus for this team. Especially if he can make his foul shots like he did today.

I will watch the game shortly but I noticed Brimah only played 5 minutes.
Did he get hurt?

Two quick fouls in three minutes.

Nolan and Omar's production off the bench will be the X factor for this team
