Welcome to the board! Posting for the first few months can be stressful as so many people on here have opinions, some very strong ones LOL. So I applaud you for sticking your toe in!

To answer your post...

• Morgan has been injured since the start of the season. We've read the injury is worse than first thought and so the rehab may be longer. I'm hoping that since it appears she will miss potentially more than half the season that she redshirts and comes back 100% next season cuz she's a really good one.
• Ice has been injured for a few weeks or so - but oddly (and not mentioned that I've seen), she was not on the bench vs. Marquette. Would love to know what's up. Can't speculate, though.
• Gandy - I've watched her demeanor on the bench and interacting with the players during pre-game huddles, etc. She's always smiling, cheering, and seems to be a great teammate. She started hoops late in life (like 8th grade I think) so is fairly far behind basketball-development wise. I kind of wish they would just redshirt her - especially if the coaches think she DOES have potential. We will see.

Ayanna is coming back from 2 years of rehab and has been slowly but surely looking better each game. Same for Caroline - her concussion and head injuries really threw off her hoops career. They are both fan favorites, especially Caroline for not only all she's been thru, but for ALL the things she does off the court for the team. She's a gem for sure.

Kelis is an interesting case - whenever I see her on the floor, I'm impressed. Not sure why she doesn't get more minutes - maybe her defense is really deficient. But she's gonna be a good one. Jana played great the end of last season and I thought she'd take this season by storm, but she's been off to a slower start, which is fine given Serah Williams continues to improve and earn more PT, and Blanca has been incredible off the bench.

Allie has improved the most of any player on the team IMHO. She's been looking really good. And Blanca is a future superstar. Almost forgot Kayleigh, the USC transfer - she's had flashes of really good play. And she's only a sophomore.

It's too late for a "sit out" redshirt year, she's already appeared in at least one game. And to get this year of eligibility back the medical staff will have to declare that she has an injury or illness that is season ending from this point forward and apply for a medical waiver down the road.
