I hope Paige gets to prove your point, Donald. I think Caitlin was better last year than Paige was when they were freshmen, and she's even better this year. Oh, what a joy would it be to see both of them at the top of their games again in '23-24!

You can look at it that way, nwhoopfan, but by your own numbers, that would mean about a couple of hundred points difference between Plum and Clark at the rate they score.

Whatever the case, Caitlin's across the board numbers are substantially better than Stiles', Plum's and especially Mitchell's.

As you know, my general criteria is that a NPOY must be good enough to carry her team to the Elite Eight. After the Big10 tournament, I admitted that she might be a an exception to that rule. Now, I don't have to admit such an exception because she has carried her team not only to the Elite 8, but beyond and into the final four.
