The Art of Foul Calling

Care to elaborate @JordyG ?
At that point, 4th quarter on, sometimes the bigger the game the less touch fouls are called. Player are allowed to body up more as well. It also seems that the arm becomes part of the ball as well as the hand. Or maybe this last one is just my interpretation, but less swats on the arm are called. My biggest issue is the lack of consistency from the 1st minute until the last. Call the same foul throughout the game and players and coaches know what to expect. Funnily enough, sometimes if overtime begins some refs feel it's time to reassert the same foul calling strategy they had the beginning of the game.
