Not sure you can't say Carlton was the player of the game: 19 points, 8/13 from the field, 12 boards, 4 blocks.

But also hard to argue against Gilbert: 12 points, 4-9 from the field, 3-6 from three, 10 dimes and 5 boards.

Nice to see the leaders leading.

it is very exciting to me that we are going to continually add top notch talent in the coming years (cole & recruits) and have some continuity with returning some very good players and rotational pieces. bouk&akok are obvious... but love having carlton, whaley & polley for another year... as well as sid & b.adams for a few more, through all their faults, they have proven they can make big time plays and will continue to get quality coaching. sounds like a college basketball program?

However, from about 10 min until 5 min left on second half when Hurley put all 5 starters back on, AG had tendencies to go hero ball and put game away by himself. It didn't go well with the clanked 3's. Then, another light went off and he went back to leading the team and the ship was righted. Always a big fan of positive learning curves within a game.

Also gotta give Tyler a little love for hitting 3 3s in the run that put the game away.

I think the message got out to the starters that the subs were coming for their jobs.
