I now know who would make the best choice for AD. "Donald Trump"...He will "Make UCONN great again".;)

Better yet......."He doesn't loose in negotiations........which means UConn will never have to take a "half share of revenue"" for a number of years before we prove our worth... or get kicked out like Temple for under performance and being a drag on a P-5 conference.

Seriously though, why does Memphis and Cincinnatti have "corporate sponsors" that vigorously promote them (with university presidents) to P-5 conferences, and no one with monetary pull when it comes to advertising dollars steps to the plate for UConn?

Is it that UTC, insurance companies, etc. find the product so poor that they have no interest to use their influence to promote UConn to P5??

Connecticut companies are looking for way to escape the state. Improving the business climate would improve our p5 chances.
