ECU laying the lumber to NC State 35-7
Cincy in a fight with Houston 24-17 in 4th
Memphis pulling tighter with Louisville 24-17 with 3 mins to go
UCF whooped RU 41-17

Still to go....

Temple-UConn in battle of horribleness
Tulsa-La Tech
Tulane-UTEP

Interesting battles going on right now.

Bridgewater just had an easy first down and game over if he made it and he slide a yard short....Memphis with the ball and 37 seconds left. Wow

Good to see ECU get the win. They'll be fun to play but not fun to play if that makes any sense. Glad UCF beat RU and Lousiville- shows we have a dominant team in this conference. Cincy/Houston was a good game and Memphis scared an uninspired Louisville team.

GO UCONN BEAT TEMPLE!

HUGE WIN FOR THE AAC IN ECU beating NC STATE. Earlier in the year, ECU also CRUSHED North Carolina and ECU has bragging rights to state of North Carolina.

Navy also had a good win last night.

Our woes aside, the American is a solid football conference. Basketball is off to a good start too.

Big time agree Mr. Mets. More solid than ESPN, Delaney of B1G and the ACC wants to admit///
ESPN on the UCF game the other night was debating whether they were BCS worthy....just the discussion
made we want to choke the living ***t of them and the propaganda they were trying to put out. Just ask Penn State
and South Carolina (even though it was UCF's only loss...by a field goal. and Louisville squeaked by Memphis today.

Basketball conference no slouch,

I agree the AAC can be a solid conference for football but there's always going to be that threat of teams getting picked off by P5 conferences. Hopefully UConn will be one of them but I can easily see a scenario where Cincy goes to the B12. Hopefully we're the ones leaving but for now, you cant be totally bummed by the AAC. The again, we do trade Louisville and RU for Tulane, Tulsa, and ECU next year. Outside ECU....there's nothing good there.
