>>In addition, a live video feed of Commissioner Mike Aresco's opening remarks and each coach's question-and-answer session at the podium will be available on ESPN3. The show will be hosted by John Rooke and Pete Brock and will feature one-on-one interviews with each of the league's 10 head coaches and select players. It will be available on ESPN3 and will feature the results of the conference's preseason media poll.<<

Given my overseas living situation, I don't watch ESPN anymore, but I can just imagine how the AAC media days will get covered on the more "premium" programming like CFB Live and Sportscenter.

"So [co-host], should we be paying attention to what's going on in Newport this week with the AAC? Are they going to have any good teams this year?"

"(laughing) Not really [co-host]. Louisville is the obvious cream of the crop from this group and they're off to the ACC next year. Outside of that, I think the big issue is that Louisville will have a very weak strength of schedule from playing a full year in the American. Assuming they run the table, I still wouldn't pick them over a one loss SEC, B1G, P12 or Big 12 team for the last BCS championship game."

EDIT: By the way, didn't mean to hijack a thread Medic. I think the conference is actually starting to do some very good and long overdue promotional efforts but I just think that it is going to fall on deaf ears amongst the establishment.

That is up to the fans of the individual schools in the AAC. If they tune in and make enough noise the pundits will pay attention. The squeaky wheel gets the grease folks.

Dear Mr, Aresco:

Can we get ^&% out of Rhode Island? Don't get me wrong. I've loved Newport since the Jazz and Folk festival days. But, for us, it's old news. My suggestion? The Hamptons. Just as upscale, scads of beautiful people, better golf courses and a younger more modern vibe. Just sayin.

As an added bonus, you can chopper NYC media types. Even if they hate the AAC, they are not going to turn down access to free booze, five-star food and beautiful people of both sexes. Media types, especially "print," haven't changed that much.

Your Friend,

FT

Good grief I could do a better job in my basement. Sounds like only 1 mic working and they are clueless.

It's so funny that media poll looks like so many other years even with the new teams.

OMG found the volume after we missed almost everything our coach had to say. Great job soundguy.

Never go first...

Coming on main stage now...

Probably available on Uconnhuskies later. Temple sounding like a WAC team for this year offensively. Some of these teams plan to score points is the message I'm getting. Well need to do the same.

Is Coach really excited about our O Line?

Horde is on fire on twitter. GDL will be on sideline. Just don't want him to have a headset or standing near Day.
