I'm convinced one reason he took the job is that he could come in and make coaching Job 1. The man is a true coach and coaches want to coach.Coach Moras feet are firmly on the ground and his mind is focused on the moment. Talented Coach Motivator Communicater and Administrator. Fun to watch him do his thing.
I think he looked at the pile of smoking rubble that was Connecticut football, looked at the facilities, university support, and state support and said "I can fix it." Time will tell if that was correct, but things are looking pretty good so far. (I think being a former pro coach helped him to pivot quickly and successfully to the world of de facto free agency in college football. That's been a big help.)I'm convinced one reason he took the job is that he could come in and make coaching Job 1. The man is a true coach and coaches want to coach.
He was probably saying to himself how the hell is this program this efn bad. Well, with the benefit of hindsight, the answer is readily apparent. Three bad coaching hires resulted in over a decade of a bad decisions. He was probably saying to himself how the hell is this program this efn bad. I can fix this.

What's ahead in 2025 for Notre Dame, UConn and the Pac-2?
Could the Irish make another CFP run? Could UConn build on a breakthrough season? We break down what 2025 looks like.www.espn.com
UConn is very fortunate that they have great continuity on the coaching staff. I agree that there are questions on the O-line…but we are lucky that Sammis is still there to piece it together. This fall for camp, I'm most interested in seeing how the OLine is put together and gels as a unit.
Looking at the Ourlads site, there are a lot of D folks who haven't played together. This fall for camp, I'm most interested in seeing how the OLine is put together and gels as a unit.
