We have so many players with talent of some kind to shuffle in that I would think it would tire teams out with wave after wave we bring.

Looking at the box score no one guy was dominant but a lot of guys played well, Jackson in particular. Sanogo nice comeback 2nd half. Rebounding was amazing, we have some glass eaters.

It would have taken me 8 guesses to get Polley as the leading scorer. Good to see him scoring inside 3, but definitely a quiet 17

He was 4-4 from inside the line.

The 30% 3-pt shooting against this bad a team is a little nerve wracking

Yeah, but they were mostly good looks that didn't go down. That will happen occasionally. Bigger point to me is they were running sets to get plenty of looks from 3. Hurley made a point of that after one of the first two games in his post game presser. He wants the team shooting at least 20 3's per game.

and mr hawkins has springs. that guy looks fun. he was jackin from the second he hit the floor. cool.

liu is a real school with a real program, and even iffn it was their second team, richie went out and said 'my ball' the whole time of it. i don't think spare part is part of his future. he can certainly knock some of our current guys, and all the rest of cbb, on their keyster. he is a strong man who just might have a soft touch with the ball. this whole 12 step program with him is starting to look most interesting. also, very cool.

and oh, money is a breakdown penetrator. against any team. and it still seems to be all new to him. he loped in a few times tonite, missed the layin, and instead of, for even a moment, acting annoyed, he looked like 'oh, that works.' nice to see that he was mostly the mish for all the mashes
coach thru out there. coach prolly thought 'hey gaffney, make it work.'

Did not realize he had 17pts. I just would like him to be more consistent with his team play that I think he lacks especially for 5th year player.

I thought I read Polley knocked down 17? I need to look at that again?

Number is skewed a little as Polley was trying to shoot himself out of his slump (2-8).
Ehh, he makes just one more and it's a decent game from 3 for him, 38%.

Not sure if I completely agree there. When he's in the game he's in there for 1 reason, to take 3's. I don't think he's been forcing up shots, he's taking the open/transition 3's and I think he needs to keep doing that

Pretty sloppy in the beginning for both teams and our pass-around-the-perimeter offense, of former years, was starting to give me PTSD.

Luckily, second half they calmed down, started having fun, and viciously bending the rims with alley oops.

Jordan Hawkins is the truth and a harbinger of next years talent.

Also, Matt Garry just got his ass kicked and kept on getting up like a T1000.

Yup! He is in there for one reason and that's to shoot the 3. Just looking for a bit more from him.

3-15 from 3 so far, not sure how many mins Polley can get if he does not turn that around quickly.

Not worried on Polley, noticed he scored alot inside in different ways, a good sign.

Garry's carry was pretty funny. That was a play us weekend warriors can relate too. Also, I know he's much taller, but something about Samson Johnson reminds me of 90s Husky Rudy Johnson.

Akok in particular looks much improved coming away with rebounds in traffic
he's actually leading the team in rebounds right now! kind of amazing. still looks skinny on the court, but if you watch highlights from his freshman season, it's night-and-day.
