spent most of the day before our Husky-Orange game at our tailgate and a few others. JP and wife Nikki were awesome. Dez Conner stopped by for an interview you'll be reading about shortly. After the game, he came back to thank us and and tell us how great the entire experience was.
Two things his wife said were telling. She said the hospitality displayed by the fans at UConn was truly phenomenal (but she asked me not to repeat what she had to say about those BC fans Thursday night, lol).
Coming from his LSU roots and SEC background, JP said in all the games he'd seen so far no one had a better return game than Nick Williams and wondered why he wasn't getting more national attention.
Check out his tour and comments at thursdaytosaturday.com but he'll need some time before he can post his thoughts on his Husky experience. He was heading for a bar in Danbury suggested by a boneyarder to watch his beloved Tigers play Alabama. I trust he slept well last night.
