and 2 bonehead coaching decisions killed us. Inexcusable to do that at this level. If Diaco continues to simply not get how game management works, we'll just keep losing.

Agreed, also after all is said and done though it came down to 2 things. The first was the handoff was way to deep in the backfield and 2nd more importantly the offensive line got pushed around again. The Navy defensive front got to much penetration and Johnson was dead meat in the backfield.

I just hope Diaco watches the tape, realizes Shirreffs is a legit no huddle-hurry up QB and coaches to his players' strengths.

It's too bad, too. The two scoop and scores cancel out, and we still have a big improvement on both sides of the ball starting with the first touchdown at the end of the first half. That will be lost.

Sets up two really big games, need to beat both UVa and Cuse. Not so much for bowl eligibility, but just to get the program back on track. The program needs excitement even more than it needs competent clock management.
