That first half play calling was atrocious

I am saving a post for after the game, but I need to time slot it for now in this thread.

This looks like the NY Giants offensive play calling circa 1974:

Run up the middle.
Run up the middle.
Run up the middle.
Punt.

I’m watching from SD. Is the rain really that bad that we can’t throw at all? Just saw on the FG that the end zone section is essentially empty

Edit nope can’t be that bad lmao UMass is throwing just fine

We're the only team in America that gets a home game and Umass homer announcers

I think our D is using the same game plan as our offense. They think it's against the rules or impossible to throw a pass so why bother covering?? That's two scores on long passes.

We have no right winning this game if we end up doing that.

It's going to take a couple more lucky bounces for us to win this one.

UMass is moving the ball at will.

Playing not to lose usually results in a loss.

I don't know whats worse. Being so bad that the forward pass has to be eliminated from the game plan entirely due to some rain. Or being 1-6 and having a coach so conservative he eliminates it due to rain even though we have nothing to lose. Neither good.

Whipple was waiting for weather to get better so he could open up play book.
Edsall was waiting for weather to get so he can do the same thing.

Isabella is chewing up UConn by himself
This game is just frustrating
Glad my son took my tickets to be with friends

I just cannot believe how pathetic our offensive game plan has been today. Simply try to ride Pindells legs all day. Put zero pressure in their secondary to do anything but come up and tackle David.

The announcer has mentioned for the 32nd time the rankings will come out for the first time this week.
