What a great atmosphere at Gampel last night! The students showed up in force and were loud. Sure they got free tickets, but they came and cheered and provided a lot of energy.
I ended up behind UConn's bench and they downfronted some of the students there as well. The girl next to me was doing homework during breaks
Interesting to see Moriah's input in the timeouts. Especially early on, she talked a lot and was pointing out things on Geno's whiteboard.
Very satisfying end to the seniors Gampel career. Many in the crowd hung around at the end, hoping perhaps for Geno or the seniors to say something. Or maybe just not wanting it to end... From here on it is TV Huskies for me!
