Regardless of his past few seasons, he bleeds blue as much as anyone and has been a great ambassador of this program. The right move was made but it still hurts to see him go and wish nothing but the best for him. Hopefully he can return to celebrate his accomplishments when they're honored down the road.

I wish nothing but the best for Kevin Ollie. For a variety of reasons, it just didn't work out here. He will.land on his feet...probably on an NBA bench somewhere.

Absolutely, no doubt, thanks a million for all you've done, Kevin. You'll land on your feet, for sure. Nobody can ever take that 2014 National Championship away from UConn, but most especially, from you. THANK YOU!

Right decision to let him go - but I'm not mad at him. No guarantee that JC wins that 2014 title. Can never take that away from him or UCONN. Let's just hope this ends quickly and fairly and we can get back to being a contender ASAP.

Everyone really really wanted this to work. I am sad but it had to be done. He will always be a husky and I will always love the guy.

Yes, thank to Kevin. He is a wealthy man who never has to work another day in his life should he choose but he probably will. Almost every person on this board would trade bank accounts with him today and he earned every penny of it. He’s in very good and secure shape even though he was fired. Best of luck to him.

Nothing but the best to KO. I hope he lands in a spot where his skillset will be a better fit and leads to a long, prosperous, and happy career.

I’ll never forget watching number four at Jerry’s world and the joy KO and The team brought during that miracle run. Truly one for the ages. At the end of the day, I think it was no longer fun for KO, or for the fans, and now maybe Kevin can bring back the joy to his life and remember the good memories
