It was an absolutely fantastic run for a team that everyone, including “UConn Fans” that they had no grit or heart. We were counted out over and over and in the end we went face to face with the “best team in college basketball” in the national championship and the refs gave us the Tanya Harding supreme. Not sure how anyone with eyes and a decent understanding of basketball can watch this game and not say there was a blatant discrepancy between calls for each team. We came out great and they were kept in the game by dreadful if not downright biased officiating by James Breeding. First half had us at 14 fouls to their 4, putting our two starting guards directly into foul trouble. Not only could we no longer play physical defense against a giant team, we are called for a foul and they are shooting free throws. We were robbed of a fair shake at the national title. Call this embarrassing but I know what I saw and I’m not the only one. Fortunately, we are the dominant force in college basketball and we will be back. And the whole world should be afraid of how much this loss will fuel this program and its fans. Now we attack the portal
