I just noticed that the start time for the Daytona 500 was moved to 7:00 PM tonight. I feared the worst that ESPN would pick up the race while Fox ran it's normal Monday Primetime programming. Luckily, (and because it's the biggest race of the year) Fox is sticking with the race tonight.

I thought for sure that the race would be moved to ESPN. Then the two guys games would be moved to ESPN2 and the girls game would disappear into the cloud. As it stands now, we don't have to worry about this. So I want to say, THANK YOU Fox!

The race never would have made it to ESPN. Since FOX controls the rights they would have moved it to the SPEED Channel, which is under the FOX umbrella. I'm glad FOX is airing the race though as I don't get the SPEED channel. It does throw a huge wrench in my evening though. For me it looks like I'll be watching UConn on DVR delay after the 500. Danica Patrick has indeed revived my interest in NASCAR, and driver scanners have to be listened to live.

Danica was pissed the other day... bumped (and knocked out) by her own partner
