Thabeet in Japan Highlights

NBA just wasn’t patient enough. His hands and his coordination really started improving towards the end of his NBA run. I thought he looked good with OKC in the summer and G league games I watched 6-7 years ago.

Shame his TBT team didn’t get to play

Does anyone know what he’s averaging? He looks pretty dominant in these clips.

Perhaps but much more is expected from a top 3 overall draft pick
Loved him at UConn but he just didn't have the overall package to live up to the hype
Great guy and I hope he cashes in somewhere

Ya gotta give it to him.his basketball career has been on life support for like the last ten years.its amazing that he is still hanging in there coming off the bench in the g league

Gotta give it to him - He doesnt hit the deck once in those highlights.
His feet are thinner. It is really tough to balance on fat soles.

Japanese refs are really slouches in offensive goaltending department.

Hash looks great regardless. Good for him.

There is no offensive goaltending in the international game.

Nor is there defensive goaltending after the ball makes contact with the rim.

FIBA allows for offensive interference when the ball is in the cylinder, so I'm guessing the Japanese league does too.

Looks much more agile than in his college/early nba days. Glad to see he’s still making money playing basketball. Anyone know what the salaries are like in that league and what HT is getting paid?

He’s an NBA role player now for sure, there are far worse... but had his shot and unfortunately I think it was more timing that anything

I believe Hasheem was a Junior and then left for the NBA. Just to think ow much that extra season could have helped.

Thabeet played with Yokohama for the 2017-2018 season. He signed to play with Fort Wayne of the G-League for the 2019-2020 season and was cut in January. All credit goes to his 100% accurate Wikipedia page...
