Curious as to whether she has full eligibility or is an actual transfer per Skim's post this morning that's in the transfer thread.

Yeah, I wonder too how someone who isn't a college player can be considered a portal transfer. Seems to me that she would be a recruit and early (or really late) enrollee.

Reminds me of Zhang Ziyu. Seems to have very limited mobility but it's fun to watch her swat all those shots and get one-handed rebounds.

Mitchell Northam with an article with more insight. Impression is that she's a recruit not a transfer, based on how I read this article. Had been on the radar of several teams too. Eligibility for this season pending NCAA approval.

Seems like eligibility for the semester is a moot point as I don't expect she is at all ready for NCAA P4 play.

I thought her mobility looks better than Ziyu but she appears more raw fundamental wise. I wanna see Crooks go up against her.
Seeing how she adjusts to the college game might be a good indicator for Ziyu’s impact if she comes to the W.

I think Ziyu will have trouble because of the defensive/offensive 3 seconds in the W. She doesn't have the quickness to be effective and I don't see her being a good defender unless she can camp underneath the basket.

From what I gather, Ziyu is a very sweet kid. She just turned 18 in May.
Stephanie seems like she's very sweet too. Apparently she went to high school in Japan, which must have been especially peculiar. Her bio says she speaks English, Igbo, and Japanese.

I think I see the same mobility issues you do. Although the video shows very little of her running the floor, around the 6 minute mark you get a few glimpses of her beginning to run, and it doesn’t look good. This may have been exaggerated by an injury, but she seems to run like someone whose knees hurt. It also makes me wonder how much stamina she has or can develop. On the positive side, she seems to have developed some good turn-and-shoot skills with a soft touch and understands how to pass out of the post.

Assuming she stays at TT. By her junior year she could have entered the portal twice!
