First half is not over yet. Score is Cal 35 Texas 33. Insane game going on late.

Will we ever see a game like this at UConn? We all know the answer to that.

I just wish we could average 25ppg of offensive scoring. This would be a 7-9 win team if we could have an average FBS offense.

We can still be a 7-9 win team this year. Syracuse, UCF, ECU, Temple, BC, and Tulane are not good. We can win all of these games. If we're really lucky, we can beat Cincy.

I'll be happily surprised if we end up winning 7+ games because that means the offense will take a huge step forward. I'm honestly worried we end up with 4 wins this year.

I just watched UCF vs. Maryland. UCF won't be an easy win. Tulane isn't an auto win either. We need to beat Cuse next week.

I just want a team that doesn't spot the other team 10+ every game before having a pulse.

Maryland beat FIU and Howard so they're not exactly powerhouses. Tulane is Tulane. Also, we get both of them at home. Since the beginning of last year, we are 6-2 at home.

Frost already looks like a better coach than Diaco and he is younger and new. Both Maryland and UCF looked much improved comparing to their previous regimes.

I guess we'll just have to find out.

The team is talented enough to win 7, but diaco makes too many mistakes to consistently pull out the close games.

He sure looked great when they were getting pasted by Michigan.

Obviously there is a huge talent gap between the 2. Michigan just pasted Colorado too. I am merely looking at his play calling and game management. They are much better than Disco's. Also, if you think UConn today can do better than UCF against Michigan, I am not sure what to say.

It's past 1 am in Texas right now. These Longhorns should be sleeping, but they are still playing football.

43-43. It is a pretty exciting game.

Texas got hosed on that fumble call. Another inexplicable explanation by the refs.

In July, I said:

1) Maine is a win
2) Houston is a loss
3) there are 10 toss-ups

On the bright side the Big 12 probably stays home for the playoffs. ;)
I wouldn't be surprised if that makes the Big 12 aim for 4 instead of 2. They'd have to balance out the addition of Houston (if they were to be added) with 3 non-Texas schools.

We had like a 44-42 loss to Cincy in 09. Only shootout really that I can recall. Ironically that score is similar to when we play them in hoops.
