Didn't get to watch any of this game, but I can't say I'm super surprised. Texas wouldn't have been great last year without all the injuries, but Lord knows it didn't help. Throw in Stafford and a coach who is at least fully engaged albeit unproven, and Texas should be solid this season. Meanwhile, St Johns without KBA is going to have a LOT of growing pains.

Indeed, not auspicious. But how about the new Nneka? Quite a sophomore leap for her, perhaps. Nice game for Fussell, too.

Nneka showed signs of this last year. She is quite an athlete! Can you believe that Tennessee did not recruit Fussell? She wanted to go there but was snubbed. They could sure use her now.

This does not surprise me at all!

I think SJU had a great run last year but sustaining it and replacing DaShena Stevens will be tougher than maybe forcasted.

Texas on the other hand....

They have some talent on the roster so they could actually surprise some people.
