KU 34-28 in the 2nd frame.

Kansas leads 41-31. This would not be good for Texas.

KU up by 10 at the break.

Collier picked up her 2nd foul at the very start of 2Q and went to the bench.
C. Taylor picked up her 2nd foul in mid-2Q and joined Collier on the bench.

Texas is down 10 at the half, and Aston already used 2 of her timeouts.

Just put this game on ESPN+ and wow, what the heck is happening to Texas? Dribble, dribble, dribble, chuck a shot...yuk...Kansas 9-0 run...

The Lady Longhorns are making me look bad!!!

Kansas going to take this one. First time defeating Texas since the Tamika Dixon years?

Ha..... naw.... Dixon was the late 1990s.... Kansas was decent around 2013 so probably around that time.

Texas is cooked. Do they fall out of the tournament with this one? They had an UGLY week with the home loss to Iowa State.

Texas lost the game in the 2nd quarter 8-21.

Can't remember a program having a stranger season than Texas, starting with Prince's controversial transfer and continuing with a win against the #1 ranked team and losses to Hawaii and Kansas.

Jan. 23, 2013, was Kansas' last win over Texas. After that Texas won 15 straight until today.

2012-13 was Aston's first year at Texas, when they went 12-18.

That was also the last year that Kansas made the NCAAs. They were a #12 seed, and they upset #5 Colorado and #4 South Carolina before losing to #1 Notre Dame in the Sweet 16.

They're still in as of now. They still have the huge win over Stanford and several other top 50 wins. They were safely in before this loss so it simply moves them closer to the bubble. Losing to Iowa State is not really a bad loss in terms of making the tournament. Losing to Kansas is, though.

I thought Delaware was the 4 seed that season? I remember they played those games in Little Rock

Looked it up........ they made the 2012 sweet 16 as well...... as an 11 seed.... beating Delaware in Little Rock.

Delaware was the 6 seed in UConn's regional (Bridgeport) but hosted the first 2 rounds. I'm sure you remember who they beat in the 2nd round :)

Notre Dame and Kansas were in the Norfolk regional that year. Not sure how you're remembering Little Rock. Kansas played its first 2 rounds in Boulder. Notre Dame was in Iowa City.
