She was on another game I saw recently...and a UConn game too I think. She is very good. I hope she gets more work.

Texas' achilles heel has been the 3rd quarter, such as in the TCU game.

They're flipping that here, opening up a 55-39 lead and forcing Fennelly to call his 2nd timeout of the quarter.

Texas is gonna win this ... but man I can't help but think about how bad they'll be next year. They'll have Collier and Celeste Taylor as their best two players. Maybe Ortiz and Benzan will be good for them, who knows. Hard for me to see Allen-Taylor and Warren as being anything more than good role players. Overall it's hard to be optimistic when they're not exactly stellar with these 4 seniors, 3 of whom were #2, #6 and #7 coming out of HS.

ISU did a good job carving the final difference down to 6. They’re a pretty decent team.
 
Wow, Aston actually gave Fennelly a hug? She's usually the supreme ice queen on the handshake line.

I don't even think Holmes had a very good game, she had a lot of sloppy plays but still managed to finish with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals (but 3 turnovers).

Higgs had her best performance since the Tennessee game: 17 points on 6-10 shooting, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 0 turnovers. I'm really rooting for her on the comeback from ACL.

Holmes has been a waste of talent. She could have been super playing for a better coach, imo. She makes too many ill advised plays and takes too many ill advised shots.

Nobody’s gonna come close to dethroning McGraw as the ice queen.
