Ball handler
Rebounder/muscle
Outside shooting

Pretty much in that order.
If you can't handle the ball better than TSam, NEXT
If you can't rebound better than Nolan, Brimah...well that's an easy one
If your outside shot isn't better than Purvis or Calhoun (omit TSam here)..next

We don't need more guys with the same limitations we already have on the bench. More is not a plus.

Not referring to Mack here, just spouting off.

That would be great.
That, plus Brimah showing significant improvement, would be awesome.

I would actually take the Harris kid because he gives us a viable offensive weapon at the 4 that we don't have even if his rebounding numbers are great. I mean do you really want to see TSAM in the game with KF or PN at the 4? That means we might not score a bucket. LOL! 3 on 5.

There are no sure "locked-in" recruits these days, just ask Wisc. KO did land the most important recruit we were after in JA. Now he and the staff need to sift through the list of transfers plus any remaining quality recruits and go all out to land one or two to fill out the roster. We still need another ball handler/back-up PG and a post-up, rebounding 4.
Lets not be difficult here.. You know what I mean by locked in... JA said im going to Uconn and was rocking uconn gear... That is my definition of locked in and thats why he was not in the category of who I was speaking of when I said Mack was the number one guy I wanted out of the recruits... geez

Further decreases the likelihood of Mack following Shaka.

Will he get his release? That is the big question and will he come north or head to USCe?

Yeah, VCU isn't required to release him, but I think they realize how bad that would make them look.

Regardless of what he's thinking now, VCU will definitely wait until they have a new coach before they release him. It makes no sense to release him without even making their own case for keeping him. They have the power to hold up the process and will use it.

so what, once they hire a new coach, if he wants out, they'll let him go.

Just saying there's nothing to know about the situation until they hire a coach and then release him.

Zionn expressed doubt that he'd be available.

Not a word new.

For whatever it's worth old friend District Baller (the VCU guys seem to regard him as their top insider) has tweeted that Mack is highly unlikely to stick with his commitment.
