He said that his mom loves uconn for their academics and he loves the campus/Atmosphere. He mentioned that the coaching staff told him if he wanted to become a husky they can make it happen. He's not sure if that's an offer but said he would find out in the next couple of days. Also he will be going to Iowa in the next couple of weeks and has said NC State, Temple, Cuse, and Ma(OH) have been recruiting him hard as of late. DeLeone is recruiting him.

It goes a lot deeper than just Ken O'Keefe who is their OC. Ferentz is a UConn grad with many connections to the northeast, and Darrell Wilson a former UConn player is their LB and special teams coach. Iowa's connections to northeast recruiting are very strong.

Why does it seem like we are always in recruiting battles with Iowa?
When the Big 10 invites UConn to join, the Hawkeyes' staff knows their success will be highly dependent on winning the important Constitution State recruiting battles. Iowa's just getting a head start. ;)

iowa already has 2 wr commits and a 3rd kid who is a ath but may be a wr/db tossup. for them to get him on a official out there in december means they are looking for more wr's and he must be high on that list(imo). i have faith in P and the staff! if we need another wr and hes the guy then wrap him up! it does make me think that the clemson kid may not be transfering in here, but its all part of the game.
