Chattanooga... that'll be the other loss.
your Monday's aren't that BIG if they're not playing UConnThis year, we play Vandy, Alabama, and Arkansas twice. Other than South Carolina at home, our tough games are all on the road (Missouri, TAMU, LSU, Kentucky, & Mississippi State).
We do have three Big Monday games (Notre Dame, Kentucky, and South Carolina), and also play Texas, Stanford, Auburn, TAMU, LSU, and Georgia on ESPN networks. The rest will be on the SEC Network. Tennessee will be on TV a lot this season.
OSU and Maryland games are "in- conference" correct? (all this moving around I gave up a few years ago). But I agree it gets no better than UConn ND and South Carolina all in the same seasonOhio State's schedule. UConn, Notre Dame, South Carolina. Plus they play Maryland twice.
Of UConn always have a great OOC schedule but they have to.
I saw Baylor have a really easy OOC schedule this year. They play in the WNIT probably against USF and DePaul but that's it.
All in all a pretty good schedule..... I read periodically on the Tenn sites the teams which will not play Tenn..... UConn, Duke, UNC, etc..... Tenn fans.... are there games you would like to see which are not on the schedule?
Darn shame the SEC didnt schedule TN and SC to meet twice in the regular season.
The SEC has set opponents that each school plays twice. I know 1 of our set home and home opponents is Kentucky and I think Mississippi State is another.
I think Ohio St. would be a good series. All in all a pretty good schedule..... I read periodically on the Tenn sites the teams which will not play Tenn..... UConn, Duke, UNC, etc..... Tenn fans.... are there games you would like to see which are not on the schedule?
Duke is back on the schedule next year. We also play Baylor in Knoxville as part of the SEC/Big12 Challenge. Add those to Texas, Stanford, Penn State, Syracuse, & Notre Dame and we have plenty of Power 5 opponents.
I would love to have a series with Oklahoma, Florida State, NC State, Iowa, Ohio State, or UCLA.
Thank you and stwain for the input..... yeah the schedule is a healthy one indeed..... and i agree Ohio State would be really cool series.... a program of distinction. FL State on the trajectory up.... and Oklahoma you cannot figure out.... they are good then not..... but now they have Mulkey, and if they get the complementary guard play that would be great series.....
by the way.... with McCoy. it was mentioned i think that Illinois was one of the finalists.... do they not have their hands full with other stuff right now?
