I think in the game thread, before the game started, it seemed most predicted a close game with WV winning
 
I remember a poster here said that Vols are slow and some of them over at Vol Nation are saying same thing.

They are. Only Horston and Burrell seem to play with any motor.

Totally disagree. :p

It's not that I have anything against their current players, or even their HC. BUT their insufferable fans, led by the lunatic Maria Cornelius leading the charge to try to take down UCONN years ago with that bogus NCAA complaint, make me LOVE to see them lose, and then lose some more.

There is no program I dislike more in all of sports. They could lose 40 games in a season and it still wouldn't be enough for me. I have zero sympathy for their fans.
 
Reading the recaps and posts it sounds as though UT has many of the same problems as in the past with turnovers and poor outside shooting.

I support Kayleigh Heckel and think she is an upgrade over Warlick, the team was better last year but this is the kind of game I would expect them to win this season. It sounds as though Davis was off which didn't help matters.

Like MSU, UT has time to clean up their errors and learn from this. Maybe they will.

I agree. Harper is of course trying to shift the culture and it takes a hard hand at times to do that. That may create quick frustration for many girls. Not sure why Key does not start also, I think Tennessee would have a stronger lineup with her in there. I also think that can cause the low intensity for players. It’s unfortunate but coaches these days have to learn how to motivate AND not discourage this me generation type kid
