I like SMU's stadium and I like the concept of a grassy knoll for college stadiums. Gives it a nice collegiate feel and adds 5k-ish with minimal upfront costs or sustainment costs.

When attendance is low you can let your kids run around there...

It's a great stadium and beautiful campus. My kids used to roll down that grass. In the rain, they'd slide to the bottom.

At SMU, the only problem is parking. Unless you know the neighborhood, it can be frustrating.

When I saw this play near the end of the first half all I could think of was maybe we see something like this soon with GA in the slot or backfield. Maybe set it up as more of a run/pass option though.

Wow what an answer by Temple just now...

Must be Texas water. No defense from either side.

Looks like Baylor, TCU or TT. First one to 60pts wins.

That TE pass in to the flat had pain written all over it.

1) SMU showing a pulse on offense against a pretty good defense.

2) SMU looking like the Keystone Cops on defense, as usual. They play well for several plays, then give up an 80 yarder.

This is probably their second best game this year. The only time they played better was a close loss at TCU.

Great stadium, beautiful campus and coeds, grassy knoll, etc., but typically the Boulevard tailgating attracts about as many or more people than ever enter SMU games played against any opponents from outside Texas. Not that there's anything wrong with tailgating nor beautiful coeds ...

Now I get why SMU fans don't go in. I'm just curious why UConn fans don't go in.

Wow - this game turned on a dime. SMU might just pull this thing off!

PJ Walker is the best forgotten QB in this conference. There are quite a few good QBs in the AAC and almost never is Walker mentioned.

And as quickly as SMU made this interesting, Temple made this more interesting. If that DB took a knee at the 1, I would have been angry!

Yeah, there would be ZERO chance that I would ever make it inside of SMU's stadium...

Huh... Interesting... Wonder why we didn't recruit him? ;)

With the smiley face i assume this is known....but i sat next to his grandfather last year at the temple game. I was told he wanted to go to Uconn and ppgdl wouldn't even pick up his calls. The staff had no interest apparently.

It had to be said.

Apparently ppgdl didn't bring their 'A' game to storrs. I'm hearing they could be on the hot seat.

Fwiw, autocorrect changes ppgdl to piglet...
