Was just about to post on this. Last year Temple beat Florida early in the season at a time when little was expected of the Gators. But then, as Florida developed into a tourney-worthy team, it became Temple's signature win. Unfortunately Temple just didn't do quite enough with the rest of its season to snag a bid.
This year they narrowly miss out on beating a ranked Florida team. Temple will have one more golden opportunity at a signature nonconference win against DePaul at home on Dec. 15.

So ... this seems to be the weekend for upsets - hope our girls are taking note:
Started with Stanford losing to Gonzaga 68-63 last night and has continued today with:
#23 Indiana losing to Western KY 85-74
#18 Arizona State to Marquette 75-63
Add in #1 ND almost losing to Green Bay
#19 FLA squeaking by Temple
and of course #2 Baylor being humbled by #3 Uconn
I guess we have parody
