Vivian is one of the better coaches, but her strength has always been as a defensive coach. She has shown little ability to coach team offense, her teams usually scored off great offensive but individual play. Her team this year is holding up the defensive end, but just can't score enough to stay in games.

As suggested, this is not unusual for the Knights. They were often a grueling Big East opponent, especially at their place. D was their forte.
