Can you say 'balance' ?

Big Syl actually ahead of the others on pts and possibly rebounds on a per minute basis.

There are a lot of things to work on, particularly on defense, but I'm pleased with where the team stands. Diana and Angel appear healthy, Sue's back with the team and looking sharp, Whalen was impressive in Sue's absence, Maya is filling up the stat sheet, Fowles and Parker are beginning to play well. The team needs Tina and Catchings to play like we know they can.

The team will practice Monday and Tuesday, travel to London and Wednesday, and practice again on Thursday and Friday. The first game is Saturday July 28 against Croatia.

The team appears primed to peak at just the right time.

Does this mean that she will be 6th in points and assists in 4 years? :D

Note that those stats include the game v. China back in May.

We have three "steals specialists"... Angel, Catch and Maya. Averaging 3 - 4 steals per game. Pretty much, one of them is always on the floor. If two or three are out there at the same time, opponents better be wary!

They are long and quick, with great anticipation. Passes that work against other teams don't work when these guys are on the floor.
