Great to see! Thx for posting! What are those guys thinking right now?
I am optimistic that Dan stays put. This dude is a basketball nerd. If I can see the mess that franchise has been since Phil Jackson left, he surely sees it too. 9 head coaches in 11 years. Fired the last coach after making the playoffs in the western conference (no small task) and losing to the best team in the conference each year. On top of that, his best player is 40 years old and has a long standing tradition of being a coach killer and being uncoachable. Your second best player played 76 games last year, which is solid. Prior to that, he played 56, 40, 36, 62, and 56 games in the preceding years. Dude is always hurt. Of all the markets, of all the teams, I do not see him leaving for a team that is a year or two away from a complete restart.
And if I am wrong, then please let's stop waxing poetic about Dan's love for UConn, because it would mean he left for money reasons. And it is not as if he is destitute. Dude makes millions already. He is not on food stamps. That's my take.

Credit to these dudes for playing through this monumental distraction - they're handling it better than I am - but I don't get the warm and fuzzies from this video. It's more depressing than anything else.

I choose to see Dan and full staff with full roster practicing and view that positively.

I’m excited about this team, they are here in uniform right now.

If something changes in the next week, I’ll probably change my emotions.

Your last paragraph was unnecessary... Are you so passionate about anything in your life that you'd turn down 12+ million a year? $20M was even thrown out...

After taxes and cost of living its a much smaller difference. He won’t be leaving for the money. Again, he is staying but this will happen in the future with knicks, Celtics or nets. His parents are 76 and dad is at every game. His parents are not moving to crazyland. Dan will have plenty of time to pursue NBA aspirations after dad has been promoted
