Seen it almost every game....
Team is still young but not much fight in these pups.

a few players fought hard the whole game, but so many others just gave up.

By late 2nd half, Navy was just men playing against boys.

It has to be very frustrating for most of the players who work there butts off day in and day out. We saw that there were possibilities early on, but then once the QB threw the game away, along with the penalties, then they just give up. No use in getting killed for nothing. No doubt Navy was much better, but the game could have and should have been closer.

Up 13 on Illini, once they scored first touchdown, you could see entire team get down. No energy, no fight, nothing.
If other team scores first, game over.

2nd half didn't matter. These guys lost the game in the 1st half, especially after that goal-line botch. It's become learned helplessness when you work your tail off to try to score and don't, and the other team can take it to the house on one play.

Disagree. We went down a score to Navy last night but we came back and scored. The big deflator was the end of the first half in my opinion. Should have gotten seven points there but we shot ourselves in the foot.

A touchdown at the end of the half would have been a game changer. As was the strip sack. IMO, the O coordinator needs to go.

I see the same thing. Not enough guys on this team right now willing to fight back. Gotta get the right 11 on both sides of the ball who has that 'wants to' in them

Meh they are fighting they are just outmatched. Navy wears you down

The failure to score is on the entire offense, not just the qb and bad calls. If that big oline can't move 2 yds in 3-4 plays...
