I don't have the time to really keep up with recruiting like some of you guys. I noticed the big-time, no pun intended, 6-7 post from Texas, McCowan didn't sign with anybody. Is she planning to sign in the late period? And who is she considering?

She is too much of a project to spend a scholly on at this point with the logjam at the 4 and 5 position. Baylor is very limited on roster space and will hold what they have for 2016. She waited too long, never anticipating that Baylor would land Brown AND Mompremier. The bus left without her.

I would love to get her to Tennessee for next year with Mercedes. Our post coach Dean Lockwood has a tremendous track record of developing post players, and I think she could be a good one. We will certainly be hurting for some real post depth next year.

You're a new poster so you may not know of our rule against harmful speculation. "Regular" speculation is OK (e.g. "I think she'll go to Tennessee because they need post depth" etc) but speculating something about a kid, any kid, not just a UConn recruit, that would somehow harm her reputation isn't OK. For example - "she seems like a 'me first' player", "she could be leaving because she's pregnant", "I don't think she gets along with her teammates", etc. There's no reason whatsoever to make up suppositions about a kid that we know nothing about. I'm not yelling at you, just explaining so you'll know. Besides, it doesn't hurt to remind long time posters about harmful speculation.
