I'm of no help, but I will throw in the following to anyone interested in, but nervous about Zorro's opportunity. My sister is an audiologist and went with a medical group a few years ago to Guatemala to do hearing evaluations and fit people for hearing aids. She went because she thought it sounded like a good opportunity to help people and her office in Buffalo helped pay her way and didn't count the time off as vacation. She was so overwhelmed by the experience that she has gone twice more on her own dime and vacation time.

Thanks for the good words, Chuck. The two things folks worry about most re Guatemala are crime and earthquakes. There IS a considerable amount of both here, but not in our area. Almost all of the crime here is in the four or five major cities (as you would expect) and up on the border with Mexico where is occasional cartel on cartel violence. Panajachel is a relatively small town, off the drug paths, and with only a single road out, which would make it very hard for a criminal to escape! We are also not located near a major fault area. We do occasionally get a minor jolt, but nothing to worry about.

News from Central America:
  • Death Storm has shifted course and on it's way to Guatemala.
  • Ice boat sales are up at Lake Atitlan.
  • Panajachel Colegio Internacional Ski Team waxing up their boards.

Wrong board bro

I am very interested in this opportunity but I have no clue how to pm you?
